It's that time of year again! On November 10, 2018, the scholarship team will be hosting the 5th annual fundraising event. This year, we will be recognizing our second scholarship recipient, Nancy Guzman. Event details:

On November 4, 2017, the scholarship team hosted the 4th annual fundraising event to continue raising money for the Luisa M. Velasquez Memorial Scholarship, AND to recognize our first scholarship recipient, Rozy Amponsah.
On November 5, 2016, the scholarship team hosted the 3rd annual fundraising event to continue raising money for the Luisa M. Velasquez Memorial Scholarship. 2016 was a tremendous year for us as we reached our milestone of raising enough money to endow the scholarship.
On October 24, 2015, the scholarship team hosted a 2nd annual fundraising event dedicated to raising money for the Luisa M. Velasquez Memorial Scholarship Fund. Family, friends, and colleagues attended to celebrate Luisa's life and birthday this year, along with helping to make the final stretch for the scholarship goal -- it was a fantastic reunion and turnout! On November 8, 2014, the Cornell scholarship team hosted a fundraising event dedicated to raising money for the Luisa M. Velasquez Memorial Scholarship Fund. Family, friends, and colleagues attended to celebrate Luisa's life -- we truly thank our attendees for their generosity and presence! Please visit the Gallery for photos/videos from the event.
Many thanks to General Electric who hosted the first annual Luisa M. Velasquez Golf Tournament & BBQ! The event was a huge success and helped boost the scholarship fund to the next level - Over $11,000 was raised for the fund!
